Over the course of her lengthy career, Betty Woodman has had numerous solo exhibitions at museums and galleries, including the American Academy in Rome in 2011 and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York in 2006. Her work has been included in group exhibitions since 1968 and is part of more than fifty public collections, including the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; Musée des Arts Decoratifs Paris, France; Museum of Modern Art, New York; National Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C.; Philadelphia Museum of Art; Victoria and Albert Museum, London; Whitney Museum of American Art, New York.
