Carol Salmanson is a Brooklyn-based artist who creates large installations and unique objects with light and reflective materials. The artist says that her work “explores the energy embedded in subconscious perceptions and calculations, the things you see and know without realizing it.” Salmanson's most recent solo exhibition was held this past spring at Storefront Bushwick Gallery in Brooklyn. Her next solo exhibition will be at Visual Arts Center of New Jersey in 2013, and she will be participating in "Space Invaders," curated by Karin Bravin, at Lehman College in the Bronx this fall.
