lene Sunshine's three-dimensional drawings and works on paper employ an array of scavenged materials— from dead Christmas trees to plastic bags— in staged acts of transformation. She has exhibited widely and has received several awards, among them a 2011 Fellowship from the New York Foundation for the Arts and a Workspace Residency at Dieu Donné Papermill. Her work is in various collections including the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, UK.
