Julian Jackson lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. His paintings are widely exhibited nationally and internationally. In 2012 Jackson had his fourth solo show with Kathryn Markel Fine Art in NYC. 2011 solo exhibitions; Galerie Kaysser, Munich, Germany, Karan Ruhlen Gallery, Santa Fe, NM, and Page Bond Gallery, Richmond, VA. Noteworthy museum exhibitions include: Haus der Kunst, Herbert F. Johnson Museum, Galerie Parterre, The Icebox; Crane Arts, The Bau Institute, ParisCONCRET, and Deutscher Künstlerbund. Fellowships include; the MacDowell Colony, the Millay Colony, the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, and Soaring Gardens. Jackson is a member and secretary of the American Abstract Artists.
