I structure my images using compasses, building a network
of circular forms. Color comes in to flesh them out in tense,
suspended relations of light, space and atmosphere.
Surfaces are precise and uninflected, allowing subtle spatial interaction
to be revealed. I want images to act as hovering, yet connected slices of light,
breathing, tense, emergent.
