I made this series of drawings in 2001.
This drawing is based on the configuration found in a styrofoam carton that previously packaged a printer. The composition has a resemblance to Mayan reliefs. I was imagining how the relief elements would look in color, but I didn't know how to realize the idea. This year I finally created a series of sculptural reliefs based on this composition, employing glazed ceramic with acrylic on wood.
