" The Backyard " is a series of color photographs made in the backyards of Queens, NY. Each photograph is a semi-constructed, site specific tableau that uses props, painted flora and fauna and multiple lighting temperatures to create a hyper-real world of childhood memories and adult longings, within these tiny and intimate plots of Nature.
